11x17” Print for Fanime 2013.

This one was another drawing whose uncleaned lineart actually survived my partial file wipe.

I think I should work with CYMK from the beginning next time because I cried when my colors died ;__; 

And did I mention that I painted those petals all individually?

This was my actual first shot at mixed media and… well, I wasn’t too happy about it. But Photoshop works magic.

A watercolor piece I did for my mother’s birthday!

I was quite touched when my mother said she was going to frame it because I thought she would look at it once and never touch it again.

This isn’t the 100% finished version, but it’s close enough to it. For drawing it all in one sitting, it came out a nicer than I thought it would. Although I’m not too happy about where the bird’s legs are at.. but hey. It’s the thought and effort that counts, right?

I tried to do a no-sketch, no-lineart, one layer drawing for a change. I now understand why it’s so hard to be clean on a one layer painting…

I recorded what I was doing, but it looks like a giant chunk of it on the second half got cut off… all the same, I have something I call ” done ” [ because I want to return to sleep now ].

Since I won’t be working with my tablet for a while, I thought I’d dump it online anyway.

I meant to draw thin lines but I kinda forgot to…
Still trying to think of different ways to color. 

I’m still alive.
Working on making my sketch clean… in hopes of making my people less stiff.

Also, trying to get to Cecility’s reference sheet which should’ve been done 2 years ago. I thought about giving her different clothes, but I’ll keep it this way until I can figure out the rest of her clothes.

It was supposed to be a digital lineart swap with a friend due tomorrow… so I kind of rushed this in one sitting (even so, it actually took a long time trying to make it clean for the most part).
this thing is  13x28”… wow.

If you can recognize who I tried to draw… congrats. She definitely doesn’t look like she’s 9.
